How to use


1) Wash the Being Bania Chakla (dry Kachri) thoroughly and soak them in water for about 2-3 hours until they become soft

2) Boil the washed Chakla in fresh water upto 10 minutes till it becomes soft. Strain the water from Chakla and set a side

3) Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Let them splutter.

4) Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears

5) Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
6) Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and oil starts separating from the masala
7) Add Chakla and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally
8) Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Your Chakla dry sabzi is ready to be served! Enjoy it with roti or rice

Dry Chakla can also be used in making Chutneys and masalas
